EMMA

FOUNDER, OWNER & ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

Emma’s innate ability for transforming the look and feel of your hair and bringing your vision to life, coupled with her fun, enthusiastic and bubbly nature, sets the tone for your time at EMH. She focuses on all aspects of technical hairdressing but as a balayage specialist, is particularly passionate about creative colouring. Her vision for precision and excellence is evident not only in her clients' feedback but in the salon’s ambience, design and exceptional customer service.

“I absolutely LOVE the way Emma did my hair - the best cut I have had in years and it really boosted my confidence. Lovely service as well, so friendly. Can't wait to come again!”

Emma's love for hairdressing began at a young age; hair-up and accessorising her twin sister’s locks was a daily occurrence in the ‘90s. Fast forward twenty years and EMH is a clear example of the love, dedication and passion Emma has devoted to hairdressing.

Her career began over 12 years’ ago at Trevor Mitchell, Hampshire. After gaining her advanced hairdressing qualifications she built on experience in London; working at Selfridges as an artistic director, session stylist and educator. Eager to return to closer to home, Emma accepted a managerial role at Bloomer and Bloomer, Winchester [2014]. Keen to pursue her dream of running her own salon, she went freelance in 2016 before moving to a shop four times the size and opening EMH in early 2019.

With a passion for excelling, Emma trained and continues to practice as a highly regarded L’Oreal educator & colour specialist, and her eagerness to educate other stylists remains a core value of EMH - “we’re united and here to help one another out”.
